Ando's new AQ6317C Optical Spectrum Analyzer packs the power of cutting-edge technologies and user-oriented advanced analysis features. It is the logical next step in the evolution of our best-represents AQ6317B. The new AQ6317C sets testing standards for measuring complex optical communication networks.
With the growing market for giga-bit Ethernet and CWDM technologies in metro network systems, the wavelength band in optical communications is expanding rapidly. Meanwhile, new technologies in optical amplifiers (such as semiconductor amplifiers, Raman amplifiers and TDFA) have also been introduced and deployed in these networks. Ando has foreseen this technological trend and unveiled the brand-new AQ6317C Optical Spectrum Analyzer ¯ reference equipment for next-generation networks.
Wavelength accuracy at full range (600-1750 nm) has improved from previous versions. S-band calibration is included as a standard feature for the AQ6317C. The new instrument also offers increased measurement speed (two times faster) at higher sensitivity mode. Many new analysis functions have also been included.
